We
are Larry and Peggy Ciesla from Yorkville, Illinois. We thank you
for your interest in our “second” home. Larry is a semi-retired
executive in the telecommunications industry and Peggy is a
homemaker.
We purchased this home in 2004 thinking of it as an investment.
We loved the neighborhood, the large lot, the layout of the pool and
hot tub, and most importantly, its location relative to the Disney
property. The first couple of years we would visit the home for
two or three weeks a year, but soon discovered that Central Florida in
the winter is a wonderful place be! We’ve since changed the home
into what is best described as a “second” home, upgrading the flooring,
furnishings, and pool area. Each year we now arrive in January
and stay through March.
By living in the home ourselves, you can imagine that we wanted the
home to be nice. The furniture we’ve purchased is high quality
and comfortable. The TV in the front room is high definition and
I purchased it mostly for watching sports. Towels, sheets, and
linens are the same we use. We have equipped the kitchen with the
typical set of pots, pans, and dishes you would have in your own
home. I have a five year limit for most furniture. After
five years I replace it. This is a business decision as well as a
personal decision. I don’t want to be sitting on tattered
furniture and don’t want my guests to either.
